About this project

ReelFaith.org | the message in the movie™
This project was developed to introduce "the message" or "the good news" to movie lovers.  There are so many good movies out there, and so many good sermons tied to them, and this site is dedicated to this type of outreach.

Frequently Asked Questions

How old is this project?
We started ReelFaith.org in September 2009.  We visited the Arvada Vineyard church (now Mile High Vineyard) earlier that summer, and heard a young pastor speak (Jay Pathak), and was really impressed with his talents and his zeal.  Their church offers pod casts of every sermon, so I downloaded them and started to listen to them as I drove around.  We were particularly drawn to Jay's "Reel Faith" episodes and thought, what a great way to reach new people.  We then created ReelFaith.org to highlight this type of ministry.

Why no advertisements?  How do you collect money to support this site?
We felt that the site should stand on its own, with no distractions.  This is a site that simply aims to connect movie lovers with messages about movies.

How do you choose your sermons/movies? How can I add one?
We have searched the web for "Reel Faith" sermons, and have picked the ones that we thought viewers would enjoy.  We are always looking for new sermons, so if you know of any, contact us

In order to present a Reel Faith episode:
- We must have a copy of the sermon in .mp3 format (so that we can allow our viewers to download the sermon),
- The episode must come from an established ministry with a valid website (so that we can link back to them),
- The episode must be Christian-based (this is a Christian ministry project).

I don't want my sermon posted.  How can I get it removed?
First of all, we am sorry to hear that.  We have picked your sermon and posted it because we feel my viewers can come to know Christ and/or deepen their existing relationship because of your message.  We sincerely hope you will reconsider removing your sermon from this site, if you have questions about it, please contact us and we will be more than happy to answer them.

If you want to remove a sermon:
- Please have the presenter or the church that produced the sermon contact us and request the removal via email.

How can I contact you if I have other questions?
You can reach us by using our contact form.  We respond to all questions and comments.
